Do we go to college to truly get an education, or is it the assumption that it makes us rich in the future

Well I got rejected by almost every college (excluding cal state) except ucsc. UCSC is basically where I’m gonna go. Berkeley sent me their supplement, which gave me this glittering amount of hope. Then it began; UCSB, UCI, U OF VIRGINIA, UNC-CHAPEL HILL, U OF MIAMI, SYRACUSE. I knew i fucked up my sophomore year, but i regained it back with 11th and 12th grade. I feel as if my world fell apart. Don’t know what to do. Hopefully I become someone big, and call them all out on it. Like a big fuck you on national television and shit
